I just got back from a Peace Vigil for the 3,000 dead
It was held a couple miles from my home and about 10 of us showed up at a very busy intersection in my suburban county. We vow to do it again. I think its important to take to the streets, just like in Vietnam. If you expect Congress to get us out of this war, you are wrong. They won't do it until we are in the streets 24/7 - that's just the way it is. Peace is hard work. Peace freezes your feet.

Who on this board will join me in demanding peace?

1. I attended a vigil last night...stood on a corner in front of the federal building,
freezing my nose off. About every 3rd. or 4th. driver would either flash the peace sign or toot the horn. About every other driver was yapping away on a cell phone. I wanted to yell, "Hang up the damn phone and help stop a war!"
