Hillary is gearing up to take down opposition
Right now it's aimed at Obama but, Edwards is next in her sights.

1. Hate to say it.....
But Edwards can hold his own and Hillary doesn't have a chance.

3. I agree but,
thought I'd give a heads up. I heard that she is trying to make it look like repug smears.
I'm sure all the hopefuls are ready and able to get back but, it's nice to know she is going to be starting so we can get our keyboards smoking

5. I wasn't here during the 2004
election (Newbie - 2005) but I can't wait to see all the heated and concerned debates that will ensue for 2008. Edwards has my vote first - I wanted him as the Presidential candidate in 2004.

16. It will get ugly
I mainly lurk, as you can tell from my post count, but I was here during 04 and yeah, it gets very ugly. DU gets through it with terrific moderators and posters, and the fact that things move quickly, so even the big fights die out eventually.

14. I'll Make A Pact With Her.... She Comes Out AGAINST What The
little Idiot is planning, she comes out swinging and swaggering and I'll support her. Edwards is my candidate, but if she steps up to the plate and calls him out.... then I'll go with her!

But unless I see anything less, she's dead meat to me! SHE has the power to make the move, but I seriously doubt she will do it! I know the newbies aren't going to be able to risk it, but she and Schumer COULD put the screws to these monsters! I doubt they will, I seriously doubt they will!

10. All sarcasm aside, I have yet to get an legitimate explanation
as to why Hillary threw 30 million dollars into a campaign(thats more than any other candidate) for a race she had locked up. Sorry but no matter how many snide remarks come up I have yet to be convinced that Hillary gives a rats ass about the American people. For her it's all about... her.

11. To win convincingly
and it worked.

Also, to put a little fear in would-be opponents. It's called playing politics, and she's apparently quite good at it.

I don't see anything about Clinton that makes her any more self-absorbed than 99% of the others who think they're qualified to be President.

12. I expect
that some of that money will magically reappear.

Or am I being too cynical?

15. What do you mean
"magically reappear"? That she didn't really spend it?

I think you're being too cynical. She will be able to raise abundant funds if she decides to run.

9. If she showed 10% of the aggression toward repubs
that she shows toward fellow Dems, I'd have some respect for her. Oh yeah, and get rid of that piece of shit carville.

17. She does vote our way 93% of the time. Not as good as
Obama, but better than many.

BTW
She's not my candidate, I am torn between Clark and Edwards. I like Obama too.

13. Strange topic line...
Isn't "taking down the opposition" what all candidates hope to do?

And exactly how is this anything new...you are quoting a poster on Mydd who is quoting Drudge...
