It is amazing the level of hypocricy and outright gaul that the republikkans in Congress possess.

This pertains to: Letter Proposing Minority Bill of Rights by Republicans

Among other things this letter calls for

...a bipartisan administration of the House, respect for customary and regular order in considering legislation, and establishing that the rights of the minority party be respected.
(I guess kind of like Sensenbrenner did in the House)

...Bills should only come to the floor after full hearings, open subcommittee and committee mark-up, and with members having a full 24-hours to review legislation prior to consideration at the subcommittee level.

...Bills should normally be considered under a procedure that allows open, full and fair debate...

two things on note:

1. The irony of their letter is that they admit they took it from Pelosi. Pelosi wrote it because of republikkan abuses in the House

2. I like most of the letter (except for the 2nd Paragraph -- which is laughable and pathetic at the same time), but then when they lifted most of it straight from Pelosi.
