They are doing an amazing job looking out for the interests of veterans. Just heard their spokesperson on Thom Hartmann's show, and he said that they're encouraged about the new Democratic Congress.

And thank you for your service. Not enough people appreciate what it means to be in the military to serve your country, it's a very noble calling. I'm just so sad about how the military has been abused (Vietnam, Iraq). :patriot:


P.S. ... please keep it kicked for a day or two so many veterans as possible will see it before it gets buried in the avalanche of posts!

and you are very welcome. Its a shame that such an organization must exist to ensure that our veterans are, in some form or fashion, taken care of. I sincerely believe that the conservative approach is just let them fend for themselves, take care of their own medical problems. I find it incomprehensible that we are spending untold billions to kill people based on a lie, and wounded veterans are reduced to begging for help.
