Excluding Lieberman, because technically he is no longer a Democrat, if this is true, then Reid should no longer be majority leader

Many Democrats enabled this administration throught the IWR, and then NEVER CALLED the administration out, when he violated the resolution's terms

Those that push for this outrage should be voted out of office

I do have an issue with the Democratic party, if they disregard the reason they were elected in 2006 in the first place. IT IS THE IRAQ WAR.

They have blood on their hands from the IWR, and more blood on their hands by NOT calling bush out when he violated the IWR, but if they enable this death machine to continue, they stand for NOTHING

I don't get it. I don't get ANY Democrat who is not screaming
from the rafters about this perverse, revolting war. Furthermore,
any Democrat who votes for this "surge" should be kicked out of the
party. This truly is sickening if it's true.

First off--The Dems have a mandate. America clearly spoke in the 06
elections. They do not want this war. They're sick of it. They
want it to end. They certainly don't want a "surge". Dems have
permission from the electorate to end this perversity once and
for all.

Secondly, the Democratic party has always stood for peace and alternatives
to war. This is part of our party core. Why would any Dem be reluctant
to stand up for basic Dem principles?

Why on Earth--given the mandate and our principles--would any
Dem go along with this sick war, and an even sicker president???

The only answer that makes sense to me anymore is---blackmail.
This war is a failed fiasco. It is destroying our country, robbing
our treasury and killing our soldiers and innocent men, women and children.

There's NO REASON to vote for this unpopular war, which is spearheaded by
an insanely unpopular pResident.

I guess we watch the votes--and we'll be able to see on who Bush has
blackmail dirt. It's the only thing that makes sense.
