Anybody have the stomach to watch Faux News all day today?
Edited on Thu Jan-04-07 08:13 AM by PCIntern
I'm considering it, since CNN is horrendous and MSNBC has the potential to be worse. At least Faux is like watching a Freddy Kruger film: you know there's going to be bloodshed and extreme violence and you're prepared. With the other two it's death or attempted murder, by a thousand cuts...

4. Variation of Monty Python skit!! I like that!
The question is what's worse:

Candy Crowley waxing on and on about the fact that the Dems 'have no plan'.

or:

Blonde anchor babe reciting neo-Nazi-isms?

Close call...

13. I'd rather engage my penis is a wrestling match with an unhappy ferret
than watch Faux Newz. It would be considerably less painful.

9. I watched a bit of it
they were all just laughin' and laughin' when that judge did his Charlie Rangel imitation

they are so easily amused

(of course a Bill Frist, junior, Trent Lott imitation would certainly not be laughed at - that would be disrepectful)

10. my wife has cnn on this morning
Edited on Thu Jan-04-07 08:19 AM by Bill219
and it is about all I can take

Soledad and the crew are just horrible this morning basically saying that Dems aren't going to be able to get anything done. Candy Crowley says it is going to be gridlock. Soledad making quotations in the air everytime she mentions 100 hours. Now she's interviewing Roy Blunt and he is crying about the Dems not being fair about the rules

14. I haven't watched television news -- broadcast OR cable -- in over five years . . .
and I don't intend to start now . . . especially with FAUX (wouldn't last ten minutes) . . .

16. Halfway considered upgrading the Sky package

because I doubt the BBC will carry the opening session, and I really want to watch it. But the only option they offer for "American news" is Faux, and it galls me to spend £3 a month for something that'll only make me throw hard objects at the TV screen anyway.

I guess I'll take my chances with the streaming video on C-Span.org.
