2. I've got an Idea
Let's see how she does as the Speaker of the House, before we try to elevate her to Sainthood, okay???

Not trying to start a fight, but there are people here already putting the "they've failed" stamp on this new session of Congress, or trying to beatify them.

Let's see what happens with the 100 Hour plan, and then let's see how they've done after the first 6 months?

4. I'm not saying she deserves it because of performance - I'm saying...
after the investigations reveal the * administration is a bunch of criminals and they are thrown out, we will have our 1st woman president.

5. I used to think the 100 hours meant 8 days. It's really 100 working hours, or ~12 days, or 2-3 weeks
But I'm grown up enough to understand that governments have to use fuzzy math from time to time.

11. "Madam" is unnecessary
Anything that doesn't have a masculine counterpart is an indication of sexism.

I will refer to her as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi or President of United States Nancy Pelosi.

15. Isn't Mrs. or Ms. the counterpart of Mr.?
Edited on Thu Jan-04-07 02:09 PM by wuushew
Nobody goes around saying The Honorable Gentleman Sir Dennis Hastert. Politicians mythologize their importance to much. We lay the opposite extreme of a spectrum with the British House of Commons at the other.

I hate all gender specific language modification.
