U.S.: ENTREPRENEUR ROLLS OUT SADDAM HANGING DOLL

Oxford, Connecticut, 4 Jan. (AKI) - A small Connecticut-based company Herobuilders, has produced a mail-order doll of late Iraqi president Saddam Hussein's final minutes at the gallows. Despite having received a death threat on Thursday, Herobuilder's founder and owner, Emilio Vicale told Adnkronos International (AKI) he does not regret creating the doll or feel it is inappropriate. "What about Saddam's gassing of thousands of people - was that in good taste?" he asked, referring to Saddam's alleged responsibility for the gassing of 5,000 Kurds and poisoning of thousands more.

In what might seem a cynical marketing move, Vicale decided to manufacture the 24.95 dollar doll two months ago. It has been available on the company website since last Friday - "when we knew the execution would go ahead on Saturday," he said.

"We've sold about 100 so far," Vicale said, adding that his company - which sells a range some of 35 political action figures - usually sells about 300 dolls every 4-5 days. Herobuilders has a factory nearby to their Connecticut office and produces the dolls on demand, so Vicale is unfazed by the slower-than expected start to sales of the macabre Saddam doll. "We already have four action figures of Saddam and so its seemed natural to do this one," he said.

"We regularly receive complaints from customers over some of the dolls," he said. "We got hundreds of email threats when we produced our Osama bin Laden doll," Vicale continued.

1. He looks pretty buff. But seriously, nah, forget it. I used to be disgusted,
now I try to be amused.

6. He will make one of you for less than $500. So he probably only has $300 in the face.
The bodies are stock. There is no way, with 100 already ordered, he can lose money.

4. What surprises me is that he's injection-molding these things in the U.S.
rather than in China.

5. "HAW HAW HAWS! KEECK THER ASS AND TAKE THER GAS! HAW HAW HAWS!"
Fucking idiots.

Right, because hanging a despot we installed, funded, armed, shook hands with and gave the green light to invade Kuwait represents a victory in the "waronterr". The war's gonna stop and the victims of BOTH madmen (Bewsh and Saddam) are going to rise from the dead!

What about using our military as a mercenary unit? What about asking innocent kids in our armed forces, on their superior's orders, to gun down Iraqi citizens going grocery shopping, unarmed Iraqi citzens in a town square or unarmed Iraqi demonstrators? Is that in good taste? Aren't we supposed to be "spreading Democracy"? What if someone fucking gunned down YOUR family while they were at the local Giant Eagle, Emilio? Did you ask for that to happen? Is lying to potential recruits, telling them they'll be a marine biologist when really they'll be pawns to KBR, Halliburton and Bechtol, in good taste?

Ever hear of the lyric "meet the new boss, same as the old boss"?

Stupid shit.
