A lot of Dems had children and grandchildren with them, and not once did I see one of the kids squirming, making faces or otherwise acting like some Republican kids at their parents' swearing-in ceremonies.
Sorry. Couldn't help myself. But I do think those Dem kids are pretty well-behaved.

And I'll bet they've been told this is HISTORY BEING MADE here, and they sense it.

2. Yes, I did! I saw one little boy crying on his dad's shoulder, but I'm |
|
sure it was past his naptime. ;-) Actually, I think I hear him!

I saw him just as I posted. But you are right. He was acting tired not bratty.

It was actually the inspiration for the OP. I think there have been a couple of others who acted up in recent years but Giuliani's sire was in the forefront of my mind.

7. I chose to keep my class away |

and not take them on a field trip to DC.
Cause if we had been there, you would know it. :)

9. Overall I thought they were all pretty well behaved, for bored kids |
|
Republicans and Democrats alike.
I did notice that Nancy Pelosi's grandson was pretty fascinated with that microphone. I assume she let him continue playing with it because she knew it was off... also, I felt bad for her being in that position, because she couldn't really have risked telling him to cut it out and have him disobey her and make a fuss.
