Somebody get McCain out of the media. He is the only
pro surge voice so of course msm is very ready to quote the misguided fellow. "I have always said we need more troop" What the goodness is he doing? He is running for president? I thought most of the people wanted us out of this mistake of a war. Did anyone see the Bob Herbert oped in the times today?

1. The way I see it McCain needs us in Iraq when............
he runs for president because he will push ad-infinitum how he has the military experience that will get us out. A lot of people will buy that. It doesn't matter that he is batshit crazy. If Iraq is no longer an issue then McCain is no longer an issue because the voters will be focusing on economic matters.
The only reason shrub wants to escalate the war is so he can say that we didn't lose on his watch. Pure ego.
