According to BBC, oil has dropped TWENTY DOLLARS a barrel since summer
so why are the gas prices still so high.. Arco today had $2.53-$2.63-$2.73 per gallon.

Remember how when oil goes up a few bucks a barrel, the stations are out there raising prices within hours/minutes?

and yet if it drops $20 , it just goes up?

I would love to see some serious investigation into this gigantic pyramid scheme..

2. there is so much 'acceptance' of price collusion
among the public - coomplacency... "that is just the way it is". I don't get it. You are absolutely right on the mark about the absurdity of prices jumping with a dollar increase on the barrell with not much of a drop when prices hit lows.

4. Yeah, plus I'd like to see investigations of the money we
put into fighting the "Bird flu", it seems after Rummy made his $5 million...we never heard about it again.

6. Oil was around $75/barrel, started dropping as election approached. Now is in high $50's/barrel
Just dropped $2/barrel. No doubt the oil dons don't like America's new push toward energy independence so they're trying to keep us hooked on oil.

7. when we clean out the texas mafia

Oil will be our life line as long as the so called "texas mafia" is allowed to put puppets in office!
we need a national "energy plan" that weans us from oil in 5 years.
yes it's possible, and yes "exxon-mobile " will be platers in the new energy field.
so lets go america!brazil did it.
