Most of the media has been bought and paid for by the Republican party which has a bottomless pit of dollars. Most of the money comes from the oil, gas, insurance and pharmaceutical industries, as well as billionaires such as Coors, Scaife, the Saudi government and so many others of their ilk.

And there are still too many uninformed, ignorant, or just plain stupid people who swallow the crap that's being spoon fed to them.

Yesterday, watching Nancy Pelosi wield that gavel was a great moment. But the hostile, Republican bought-and-paid-for media will do their best to degrade her and every other Dem who tries to bring our country back to some semblance of sanity.

How do we stop it? Aside from the "fairness doctrine" regarding the public airwaves, I don't have a clue. And Bush will veto anything and everything the Dems send him.

So where do we go from here? And how do we stop the pig dung that most of the media has been spouting for years?
