Women facing terrorism charges for white powder incident (Stupid over-reaction)
Because when Middle-Eastern women are in possession of SALT...

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. --Two women are facing terrorism charges for an incident involving a white powder that fell out of the pocket of one of the women in the booking area of Bridgeport Police headquarters.

A Fairfield woman and her sister, who is from Jordan, were arrested Thursday after white powder police believe was salt fell from one of their pockets. The incident kicked off a hazardous-materials emergency, police said.

The building and the surrounding streets were closed most of the afternoon and into the evening. No one was injured, but 14 people, civilian detention officers, police officers and six prisoners had to take showers in the Fire Department's decontamination trailer and their clothing was bagged.

The women, Cari Altayeb, of Fairfield, and Anaahn Altayeb, of Jordan, were charged with acts of terrorism in connection with the booking area incident.

They are charged with first-degree breach of the peace and threatening from an incident over a child custody dispute in front of the state Department of Children and Families' city office earlier in the day. The DCF incident had led to their arrest and the powder incident in the booking area. The women were being held in lieu of $1 million bond.

3. It's the 1% Doctrine.
Because everyone knows, 1% of Muslim women involved in child custody disputes resort to using Weapons of Mass Destruction against the local cops.

:sarcasm:

4. Well, you know that they could have...
went into the restroom, set up a complex and dangerous chemical laboratory and using exotic chemicals extracted the CHLORINE out of the sodium chloride and killed EVERYONE IN THE BUILDING!!!

(Makes as much sense as what they told us about the airplanes)

2. Typical of the mind-set in this post 9/11 world!!
"When in worry, fear, or doubt
Run in circles, scream and shout!!"

Just goes to show ya what a constant diet of Terra, Terra, TERRA!!! will do to formerly rational minds.

8. Of course not. Those were probaby sanctioned.
For some reason, some people in very high places clearly don't want the Anthrax terrorist caught, or even investigated very seriously.

12. Middle-eastern girl in my high school got suspended years ago for a white powder...
they re-instated her when it was found to be a pound and a half of mustache bleach.

She was cute, but hairy.
