How did *s handlers get rid of the coke jaw?
I can barely stand to watch him, but I've noticed that the "coke jaw" seems to be gone. It used to be very obvious.

5. Bingo.
His speech has really deteriorated in the last year.

He makes no sense whatsoever.

Valium. Lots of it.

14. I'd give a testicle to have a certified list of the psychotropic drugs he's on.
A beta blocker is just one part of the cocktail. They've got to be medicating that tool to the gills.

26. It's a class of drugs used for a variety of reasons, but their anti-anxiety and
... 'sweat-suppressing' effects are often rationalized as treatment justifications. The quesstion would be "Which one is he taking?" That would offer an insight to other behaviors.

16. Cogentin
is the likely treatment. People on antipsychotics with unwanted physical tics take it to control involuntary movement.

18. I know, I have a relative who has to take antipsychotics and...
she also has to take Cogentin. I don't really know if she'd be fit to be President of the USA, however. This could be why he's acting so irrational on Iraq.

We might have to start talking about this as a nation, because this guy doesn't seem to be fit to be President.

19. My thoughts too. Medication would only make him more zombie
like and I don't think would help the coke jaw.

11. I was wondering the same thing the other day. It's amazing how
they've been able to stop the coke-jaw and how have they managed to help his speaking ability? He seems not to be stumbling as much.

15. I saw a medical explanation here on DU at one time...
there was speculation that it was due to the anti-alcohol drugs he was on. It also was causing the splotchy skin. I think he's off the anti-alcohol drugs and quite firmly off the wagon, and has been since Katrina or sometime before. Ergo, the clenching jaw and splotchy skin are gone.

17. We assume this is because of coke or anti-alcohol drugs...
I wonder if it could be from something a little more dangerous. I wonder if he has to take some sort of medicine to treat mental illness of some sort. He's been acting very irrational, he's shown poor judgment. I wonder if these things are related.

21. That's Antabuse that causes the splotchy skin if you drink
while taking it. The way it works is to make you stay away from alcohol or suffer the consequences. I don't know if it's still in use. I'm sure they have something better today.
