Neighbors Sue Charlton Heston Over Mudslide...
Associated Press | ANA BEATRIZ CHOLO | Posted January 5, 2007 07:15 PM

Neighbors who live down a hill from Charlton Heston's home are suing the actor, alleging that their property was damaged two years ago when heavy rain sent hillside debris pouring into their home.

The lawsuit filed Wednesday by Jerome and Flora Heilweil alleges "slope failure" on Heston's property caused substantial damage to their home in January 2005, diminishing the market value of their property. The couple seeks at least $1.2 million, as well as punitive damages.

...the Heilweil's rented the DVD Earthquake and the Sensurround™ coming thru their home theatre system shook the hillside.

11. If you create a dangerous situation that only needs nature to invoke it yes..
If you cut down all the trees in an area that needs the root system to stop erosion or build something that would cause massive damage if it failed then yes you can be liable. Man can create situations that nature takes advantage of and does massive damage. Like the levees failing in New orleans. Nature didn't build those levees to fail, man did...

10. Worse yet, he knows God personally!
And if they don't quash the lawsuit, he'll throw burning
bushes at them.
