Family Planning and Contraceptives cause both Deaths due to Childbirth AND Abortions to drop

Yet, Conservatives want to rollback access to contraceptives and say almost anything they can to demonize family planning.

"Although it is still one of the highest in Europe, Romania's maternal mortality ratio continues to decline, dropping from 130 deaths per 100,000 live births in 1990 to 33 deaths per 100,000 live births in 2003. Approximately half these deaths are a result of unsafe abortions. The decline in maternal deaths has been driven by a sustained drop in the abortion rate – from over 3,000 abortions per 1,000 live births in 1990 to 1,058 in 2003. Better access to family planning services and an increase in modern contraceptive use is credited for the drop in abortions."

5. That's just it--they aren't "Pro-life", they're "pro-birth"

They want women to give birth left and right, yet they never want to consider the consequences (whether those babies are wanted, how those babies will be supported, what will happen if the babies have special needs, etc.). They only care about the fetus until it's born, then afterward the mother is on her own.
