Edmund is a modest city of < 100,000 people, and is traditionally Republican. A good barometer of attitudes.
It's good to see their print editors have realized their Repub candidate for the Senate is not worthy of them:

Schwartzenegger made a good inaugural speech - in it he said of the climate naysayers "if you take your sick child with a fever of 106 to 100 doctors, 98 say he needs medicine and two say 'don't worry' who are you going to believe?"

sadly there are those who would rather their child die than believe it could be sick. Inhofe is one of those; his election to a leadership position is only overshadowed in its absurdity only by bush's
