Democrat from Delaware tells ‘Meet the Press’ he’ll file paperwork in Jan.


Sen. Joe Biden tells Tim Russert of NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he will in fact, be running for the Democratic nomination in 2008.

He went on to say that he will be filing the necessary paperwork to create an exploratory committee by the end of the month.

He declared his "intent" back in late June 2005, and I posted these at DU then (emphasis added today):

I knew this was coming...and I already wrote to him around the time of the bankruptcy bill's passing to let him know
we would remember come This Time...and that he would NOT have my support.

He can seek the Presidency all he wants...but he'd better bring a few maps, a flashlight, a seeing-eye dog, oh, and lots of extra food and water. 'Cause he ain't gonna find it in this Century!
