In the movie "Why We Fight". How did you interpret this scene: |
|
John McCain is dragging Vice President Dick Cheney's name through the mud talking about influence peddling in Washington or something and McCain's assistant interrupts the interview to tell McCain that the V.P. is on the phone. McCain gets this dumbfounded look on his face and his eye starts twitching in some sort of nervous tick. What did that scene mean? McCain is a two-faced liar just caught on film in one of his own lies? Or did it mean that Cheney owns McCain and Cheney was calling McCain to task?

1. A little of both, I think. |
|
I thought that was a very telling scene in that very excellent movie. McCain looked "whipped."

3. The nervous tick was odd. |

I almost felt bad for the guy. My immediate thought was that the nervous tick was something he picked up in that POW camp in Nam.

5. That is funny as shit. |

Then I thought, "Damn, they probably are monitoring his every move." Wouldn't put it past them. They surely have his phones bugged.
