Even the NRA is turning on Bush
Hell is freezing over

"SEATTLE -- After years of close association with the Republican Party and hard-nosed opposition to federal land-use regulation, the National Rifle Association is being pressured by its membership to distance itself from President Bush's energy policies that have opened more public land for oil and gas drilling and limited access to hunters and anglers."

Wow. Just wow.

4. Even conservative Idahoans are considering stopping
the canned hunts. Shooting tame animals shouldn't be considered a sport. It's an act of cowardice.

But then Cheney never defended our country and showed any bravery.

6. Yeah, then there's Cheney hunting pet bunnies in his back yard.
I don't even know what to call that. He probably doesn't even eat the meat, either...

7. oh, this is so RICH!
maybe the NRA will ratchet up its support for Bernie Sanders with money they take away from the Republicans( oh, the irony. BTW, Bernie gets a 100 rating from the NRA. He's one well-armed Socialist).

10. that article also says something that makes me want to say too fucking bad
"We find that our members are having a harder time finding access to public land," said Schmeits, who recently pushed the NRA to lobby for congressional protection of the game-rich Valle Vidal forest on federal land in New Mexico. "

there is a part of me--a gut reaction--that wants to say too bad--you shouldn't be killing anyway!
