1. If you don't believe that the Bible is the WORD OF GOD, then no.

Every generation has been in "the last days." They were waiting for Jesus to return when those that knew him were still alive.

Perhaps some Christians believe that they can set the endtimes in motion, but even if you believe the Bible, you know that this can't be done.

I think they are using the fear of the end of the world to gain converts.

as I believe John was referring to Rome when he wrote Revelations. That some rwingers are trying to make this the last days is a given.

7. As a Christian...

I take the best parts of the bible as moral code for how to live. Likewise, I take the worst parts as a moral code of how NOT to live. I don't take most of it literally, it's a life guide.

I think the world will end, when it ends.

Now, ask me if the U.S. is on the brink of falling as Rome did...
