I heard a republicon on C-span say...
that we dems want to cut and run from Iraq instead of winning. He said that we need to win and start helping the Iraqis get jobs. He said that the dems just want out of Iraq so that they can use the money to start social programs. Why do you think the repugs would rather help others instead of their own country men and women. They want to help the Iraqis get jobs but they seem to want to do everything in their power to make sure we don't have jobs so that their will be a need for social programs. Then they say pull yourselves up by your bootstraps...The Iraqis would have the jobs they need if bush's buddies and friends would let them do the work and take care of their own country...

5. I like your way of referring to the minority party.
I'm sure I've seen it before, but it just struck me as the best way to respond to their persistant use of "Democrat" party— with a strong emphasis on the "-con."

9. I'm sure all the best jobs in Iraq are taken...
I'm sure the corporate lackies and bushbots are getting all the best jobs rebuilding Iraq leaving the unwashed masses to fend for themselves, just like here. You're right, if it weren't for Republican greed Iraqi's would be better off being able to work on these issues themselves.

Or we could just bomb'em and kill'em all. Either way seems to be alright with them.

14. For Once I Agree With A RepubliCON (love it)
The Dems are for spending our tax dollars here to help our citizens.

If the RepubliCON's feel spending our tax dollars in Iraq is more important than spending them on the citizens they allegedly represent, maybe they should resign, apply for Iraqi citizenship, and run for office there. It appears there are new openings every day. Hell, the PM spot may soon be vacant. Maybe this is Newt's big chance to run a country.

16. If we had given jobs to the Iraqis following our invasion...
Iraq wouldn't be the disaster it is now. Iraqis were perfectly capable of rebuilding their own infrastructure with our financial assistance, instead the money went to Halliburton and American contractors. And, of course, then only to Americans who supported the Chimp and opposed legal abortions. It also helped if the American was straight out of college with no experience and family connections to BushCo.

It's a little late for the Rethugs to start claiming that they care about jobs for Iraqis.

that there is a booming economy in this country too. The 4.2 unemployment numbers are BS.

20. They continue with the stay the course rhetoric...
and before the election they were talking about no benchmarks or timelines and from all of the bush minions I see on C-span and other shows, they seem to be giving us a benchmark or timeline for bush to
STAY THE COURSE. I guess they haven't stolen enough of the resources yet. What are they leaving for the Iraqis to build up their economy.
