Poll question: Story from today that has you most frightened:
There have been four major stories today of some bizarro happenings around our country - which one of these has given you the most concern for the American people:

1.) Horrible and mysterious odor engulfs NYC: http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2007-01-08-nyc-gas_x.htm?POE=NEWISVA
2.) Downtown Austin, TX is closed because of 63 dead birds found: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/APStories/stories/D8MHA0CG0.html
3.) Suspicious Materials found at port in Miami: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,242417,00.html
4.) Dick Cheney goes hunting today in Latrobe, PA: http://www.abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=2778307

8. I had to pick Cheney.
But actually, the story that most worries me today is the one that has most worried me for many years: global warming.

16. I have relatives in NYC. They're hoping that breathing today isn't lethal.
Doesn't seem so funny now, huh?

The birds were the first to die, they fell out of the sky mysteriously.

9. The story that scares me most wasn't printed in so many words. But the
answer is simple: "George W. Bush Is Still President."

If that's not enough to terrify every living being on this planet, I don't know what is.

Edited on Mon Jan-08-07 10:11 PM by hootinholler
Rolling Rock Farm is in Laughlintown (lock-lin-town), Pa. My Step-Aunt is the Postmaster. It's just west of Ligonier, which is about 10 miles from Latrobe, and about 20 miles from a level 2 trauma center.
