we americans don't sacrifice a thing

It troubles me that in other wars americans sacrificed alot . Now many go on as if there is no war/occupation at all .

People complain about the price of gas and it is a ripoff but we could do more to cut back .

Americans complain about outsorced jobs but continue to buy chinese products , most of these items could be lived without .

We complain about everything but seem to be willing to give up nothing at all , except our rights , this we allowed to happen and we did not get out in mass numbers to revolt this either .

As the people in Iraq suffer daily death and destruction we should at the very least give up what we can .

There are people who continue to suffer in america as well and few who have the means do anything to help .

There is a thread asking about the future of america , well here it is folks , the future of the rich and poor and the inbetween who carry on ignorent .

I know website such as this represents a very small part of the population , many here have done great things and done what they can .

So my problem is with america at large . What are we really as a country with a conscience who are willing to sacrifice anything other than life .
