We voted, we've sent a message, w rejects it. Should we be angry?
What will we all be doing this time next year? Still spinning our wheels? Still stuck in the quagmire? Still counting corpses? Do we have a right to be angry, do we even have a reason to be?

Let's say we are angry, so what? 'So what' is what the president says to us, is that all there is to it? We voted against the war, as a nation, and our president and his henchmen say fuck you, so that's pretty much the end of it at this point.

I am impatient, a personality flaw of mine, I want something to happen THIS YEAR, yesterday even, I am sick of glacial bureaucracy, timidity, fear of losing one's political career, and sick of the stalling, delaying and obfuscating in the face of a severe national and global crisis.

Did the election mean anything at all? Does our opinion matter at all? Is your anger growing, is it righteous, do we deserve to be pissed off?

w says the war is the calling of our time, I say the calling of our generation is the removal of ALL THESE MANIACS, starting with big dick, who is the real enemy of we, the people. The calling of our time is to fight domestic tyranny, and nothing less.

....against ALL enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC.

2. The words of Mario Savio show us the way:
“There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!”

That time is now.

3. War
Apparently, the president thinks he can do what he wants to with little regard for "We the People". How many people marched on Washington during the Vietnam war? I believe at one point it was a million or more on the Mall in Washington. After bushes announcement re: escalation, wouldn't it be nice if several million of us showed up at his door step? If we give the Democratic congress cover, they will be able to give the moderate and sane Republicans cover and then maybe we can regain control of our country. How about all the MSM coverage of possible terror problems in the USA just before the escalation announcement?
