We Must Apply Force To The Puppeteers, Not Just The Puppets!
When the bull attacks the bullfighter's cape
the bull gets the sword
When the bull attacks the bullfighter
the bullfighter gets the horns

Because we do not have publicly financed elections yet
our politicians (except for a very few like Bernie Sanders and Russ Feingold
who do not take corporate money) do not work for us.
They work for the richest and most powerful corporations on the planet,
The Oil and Energy companies and the Defense Contractors.
They have no interest in ending this war. They are making a killing.

This is just a fact of life and we should disillusion ourselves
that it is any other way. Our politicians from Bush on down are puppets.
We may take down some of their puppets but they will just get others.

We must apply our forces toward the puppeteers themselves
if we wish to see any real changes come about.

Because the Boards of Directors of most corporations are interlocking
with most members sitting on multiple boards of directors
This makes our job easier.

We can't expect to end an occupation with an afternoon's demonstration,
no matter how large. They will simply ignore us as they have done many times already.
We must stage occupations ourselves before their occupation of Iraq will end.

When enough of these board members grow tired of having 1000-1500 people
camped out indefinitely outside the gates of their estates, under siege,
being pelted with insults and more every time they come or go,
This crap will finally end.

We must lay siege to the puppeteers.
We must never back down.

Can we start making preparations to do this together?

12. Yeah, But Say Instead Of One Million People at the Washington Mall One Afternoon
Edited on Tue Jan-09-07 04:12 PM by Wiley50
What if we had ten thousand people assigned to each of 100 evil executives
and rotating to always keep 1000 people on each of their doorsteps
INDEFINITELY

I think we would see much better progress

2. Expose them for who they are.
And the huge salaries they grant each other as they jump from one corp to another.

3. I totally agree with you and I believe we have to band together
soon to demand real election reform from the new Congress.

This would be publically financed elections, paper handcounted ballots, and run-off elections. We still could use the E-voting machines as a calculator to verify the figures and accommodate the handicapped, but the official vote would be from the hand counts.

To me this is the second most important issue we have. The first being a resolution to the miltary wars now being waged in other countries most notably Iraq.

I suggest each and every one of us who have a passion for this write letters to our congressional representatives and senators on a weekly basis until they get tired of hearing from us and do something about it.

18. well, that's true, but...
you can start by cutting the strings via investigation, legislation, judicial punishment.

As far as money goes, you can cut the strings by reorganization, legislation, rerouting.

These people wouldn't be anything without money...how about redefining influence via wealth. What exactly is wealth? the ability to affect change in personal affairs by a correlation to manipulating legislation and global affairs.? I don't know, I'm asking; but, a "wealth" of weapons didn't seem to help israel much wrt Lebanon. I just think that this is the weakness of the puppeters...a circumcised rather than inclusive perception...it's an over-compensation and a weakness.

Actually, I think true democracy might be the best counter to people pulling strings. How about a fair and just consideration...say, an equitable solution...the person who cuts the cake will be given the last choice...that would help keep the appropriations equally weighted. Oh, and they can't cook the cake or choose the ingredients.

Well...
