Anyone notice all this escalation of violence of the eve of Shrub's speech?
Edited on Tue Jan-09-07 08:59 PM by RiverStone
New military operations just revealed on the eve of Shrub's speech include attack helicopters targeting suspected al Qaeda fighters in southern Somalia and a new US/Iraqi Army mission along Baghdad's Haifa Street - in a large and well orchestrated raid with 1000+ soldiers - including jet fighters.

All on the eve of BushCo's speech trying to sell his war mongering wares to the American people.

The tail wags the dog again - I pray people can see the timing for what it is. The tragic irony is the soldiers in the field who are simply following orders and are placed in harms way for an already failed war, following failed policy.

3. Did I hear correctly?
I was listening to NPR today and I thought I heard a news report that said that the Iraqi soldiers with our troops doing this Haifa Street mission don't have guns? Only our troops have guns if I heard it correctly.

Anybody else hear that?

4. I haven't heard it, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Our troops do not want to be shot in the back, by accident, or design.

5. You're imagining things
if it was true, Fox would have reported this.
