Millions still convinced that we are actually at war.
And we aren't. There is no war on terror. There never was. It's a hoax. From the bottom up, starting back then, continuing right now, call it what you will but it's not a war, it's a hoax.

Sure, thousands upon thousands of people are dying, fighting, bleeding, but not here. We are not at war, never were. Yet millions still believe this basic but effective fairy tale.

War is when two or more factions meet on the field of battle and stab and slash and hack and bleed and die, not where you blast escaping innocents from the sky, not when fat rich white men sign documents over martinis and go home to their fat wives, that's not war, that's obscenity.

Every day, all day long for the last 6 years pundits and citizens have repeated it over and over again, but it's not true, we are not at war, this is not a war, this is a gigantic, horrific, inhuman hoax.

3. From Lawrence O'Donnell
11/21/06
Well over 95% of Americans, including Congress and White House staff, have no personal connection to this war--no relative or friend serving in Iraq. Over 99% of us have made no sacrifice for this war--we have not paid one more penny of taxes nor shed a drop of family blood. One of my military relatives thinks of it this way: "The American military is at war, but America is not at war."

5. The "fat rich white men" have anorexic wives.

Of course we're not at war! We ARE "at" using the national military to seize and control Iraqi oil reserves to enrich and later to protect the anti-national oil corporations and their lamprey eels of Halliburton, Bechtel, etc.

I.e., we are Global Thieves and Murderers. USA, Inc. And Bush is the capo di tutti capi.
