RADICAL FRINGE TOON - notice

I'm leaving thursday (1/11) morning for Minneapolis to visit my family. I'll be back 1/16, I hope to have new toons up and running by wed or thurs (1/17-1/18)

Today my schedule is filled with packing and other preparations for the trip and I'll have little time to work on "toons"

my family has prepared an itinerary for me, so that will keep me busy during the visit.

as far as the "comic sherpa" site goes ( http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwc ) - I've set it up to run my "OUT OF CONTEXT TOONS" for the next few days

I'll still be able to check in with the DU from time to time during my vacation

3. going to be busy

arrive in MN thursday morning
-- my mom has informed me we will be going grocery shopping right after she picks me up

--nieces arrive home from school around 3-3:30

-- informal dinner/visit time

Friday:
-- I'll be media room aide at my niece's school
-- helping niece with school project
-- may go to movie Friday night

Saturday:
-- continue to help niece with school project
-- out to dinner with brother and s/o

Sunday:
-- family b-day party for niece/mother

Monday: ?

Tuesday: head home

5. her class are doing projects on States

each kid does a presentation about one of the states

my niece picked Pennsylvania. (She's in the 4th grade)

she called me last week and asked if I could help her with it.

I've already prepped some "visual aides" for her

-- printed up a big poster of the state map
-- another big poster of the Declaration of Independence
-- printed off State flag on iron-on transfer so we can make a state flag

I also managed to get some small pieces of coal, so she can give a piece to each of the kids in her class

my mom is working on making her a 'colonial' type wig to wear

I've already told my niece she's in charge, she's the boss of the project, she's the 'decider' :D
