But not like you think.
After witnessing the White House response to Katrina, do you really think that Bush gives one damn about the Iraqi people?
No...when they say "things will get worse if we leave"...they aren't talking about Iraq, they are talking about here. In the good old USA.
Things will get worse politically for each and every politician who has in any way supported this war.
That's what they are afraid of.
It has nothing to do with humanity. It is simply saving their worthless political skins. And I am being bipartisan here.
