He's a nervous wreck.
The bottom line: We have a dry drunk in the White House. Yet everyone walks on eggshells around him, in fear of setting him off, when we should just ship him off to rehab. The whole world is in a co-dependent relationship with George Bush. The whole world is his enabler. Who will put a stop to it? When?

9. On the one hand... they do have him seeming "calm" .. on the other
hand he seems "flat" - his expression hasn't changed once, nor does he seem confident. Calm, yes - confident/strong - not really as there is NO affect to his speaking. Seriously - he almost (?) seems somewhat drugged - not speech slurred, but serious, serious prozac type response - as if there are NO emotions there - no reactions - nothing.

10. It's a "prozac" look.
Calm, but with stunted affect as you said. There is also some slurring of words. I bet he's taking antidepressants and drinking.

11. probably both - but resisted drinking
prior to the speech - the slurring is very subtle. But the affect is very clear - still has not yet *once* in nearly 20 minutes has not changed his expression once. Eerie.

14. "Blunted" is the term for that. People who are depressed have a lack of facial expressions
and I would guess that being drugged would also have a similar effect.

18. He just called the entire world out.
He was terrified. And he should be terrified.

Even the Republicans are not going to go along with this. It's too outrageous. We gave them everything they asked for. And Iraq had nothing to do with anything. Even the braindead are waking.

19. Nervous crook, too
He wants to conflate this to some mythical ideological war all across the world. It's the only way he can seemingly distract from the Iraq failure. What an absolute warmongering fool he is! Seriously abusive and seriously psychotic!

20. Like a deer in the head lights
He looked like he was about to crumble at any moment! Just more of the same bs, we've been heard it all before along with the usual fear mongering to try and scare as many sheep into getting in line as possible. Its not gonna work this time folks, hes toast and he knows it.

And wasnt it cute how he tossed Syria and Iran in there as well? I wasn't absolutely sold on impeachment before, but after hearing this speech I dont think we can let him stay in office for another 2 years. He HAS to GO!

27. He has failed at everything and his family bailed him out.
Now he wants the American people to bail him out. Not this time. Impeachment of Bush and Cheney is imperative. I don't care if the Rethugs in the Senate won't vote guilty. Once the evidence is presented the Rethugs will be shown to be the Criminal Protectors that they have been all of these years. The case must be presented.
