3. not only that - all of his descriptions of how this is *different*

than earlier efforts = due to the increased troops level (before swept out - and after leaving terrarists came back - now enough troops to keep them out) - as if the "increase" is a) enough in numbers to do what he says; and b) will all be there at the onset - and everything we have read suggests that it will take time for those numbers to be mobilized and brought to Iraq.

What was odd - the man never once, not once in twenty minutes, changed his expression. It *was* calm and appropriately serious, but it was also FLAT - no affect. No change in facial expression. Noone (without help of drugs and extreme coaching) speaks that way. Seemed rather significant to me, as I watched.
