Durbin's "America First Tone"
Edited on Wed Jan-10-07 10:23 PM by Strawman
Scarborough pointed this out and he is not wrong. The statement that we've "already done enough for Iraq," is quite simply, ignorant and offensive. He and Tweety loved it. I don't.

But, you know what, if that's the rhetoric that works for the American public, if that's the argument that ends all this, I don't care. I'd say the same goddamn thing if I were in Durbin's position if that's what I thought it took.

It was soooo condescending it made me wanna :puke: Nancy Pelosi speaks in this tone too sometimes. Don't get me wrong I'm glad they are there and not repubs but holy crap they could word things better.
