Letter to my Representative

Dear Congressman Ellsworth:

I am writing you as a Citizen of the United States living Abroad. I was born and raised in the 8th Congressional District of Indiana and, although I live in Canada, I am still an American and consider, in my heart, Southern Indiana my home.

Having lived outside the United States for several years, I see the US in a bit of a different light than one who lives within its borders. Our country is now looked upon with derision instead of respect.

I am becoming more an more concerned with the actions of Mr. George W. Bush and his insistence on continuing with his Iraq Policy and the so-called surge in troop deployment.

I urge you and your colleagues in the House of Representatives to do everything in your power to stop this latest tactic. Please institute Congressional investigations and, if need be, impeachment proceedings, against Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney.

Too many lives, both American and Iraqi, have been lost on this unnecessary, illegal and immoral war.

It is a trying time for our country. Thank you very much for your willingness to serve in the United States House of Representatives.

I anticipate being disinherited - or at least the threat of it! LOL! My parents contributed to *'s campaign in 2004. Well, the female parental unit did. I don't think Dad had anything to do with it - except to send me the lovely photo they received of * and Pickles that Christmas.
