**** 3,000 BRITISH TROOPS TO PULL OUT OF IRAQ BY MAY****
So, a "surge", huh? Fact is, we're going to be on our own soon.

===

Thousands of British troops will return home from Iraq by the end of May, The Daily Telegraph can reveal today.

Tony Blair will announce within the next fortnight that almost 3,000 troops are to be cut from the current total of 7,200, allowing the military to recover from four years of battle that have left it severely overstretched...

The plans for the British withdrawal were revealed as President George W Bush announced that he was sending an additional 21,500 troops into Iraq...

His high-stakes, prime-time television address to Americans last night signalled a stark divergence of policy on Iraq with that of his British allies.

3. A WELL PLAYED DOWN FACT

IT seems that deceit is still the name of the game. Why hasn't the numbers of troops published from each country including ours been entered in the fray of the presidents latest
folly?
It seems we are not the only country that is discussed with how this war has been mis-managed.
Lets get truthful with the public mr president,you've upset the balance of power in the middle east,refused to listen to anyone who doesn't agree with you and the only way we can possibly win militarily is to level the country. And you know the world will not stand for that.
So instead of getting a guaranteed oil supply you have simply put a road block for us to eliminate once your out of power.
THIS latest move to bulk up our puppet govt. in IRAQ will end in more blood shed for naught!

4. Not sure Gordon Brown's actions will be from the heart;
but, I suspect he will want to be returned to power. So, he will do whatever it takes.

5. Apparently the neo cons have lost their clout in Britain
and they are not willing to participate in the destruction of Iran. At least they haven't completely lost their minds
