Iraq. Solution

May I make a suggestion on Iraq?

The solution to what to do in Iraq is simple.

Declare victory.
Bring troops home.
Give Iraq to the United Nations.
Blame UN for yet another failure to bring peace to the Middle East..

This is brilliant. shrub gets out of his quagmire and then the RW can blast the UN for being a wimpy organization.

Thank you. Remember you read it here first.

Facetiousness off:

(I am afraid that my posting this here may result in this idea really coming to pass.)

1. some suggest that this is the point of the surge
to give a 'victory point' to facilitate withdrawl.

Of course thats just folks trying to rationalize *still* supporting this president - and they don't get that this man is committed (or needs to be committed) to "prove himself right!" which means no withdrawl under "his watch" (as he has said in public multiple times.
