Mathews on Imus: Bush still controlled by neocons; Cheney says kill.
The Imus boys are all abuzz this morning about the crazy man in the white house; as if they weren't guilty in nurturing this putz for the past six years. Charles and Bernard have also turned against him, maybe as badly as they were dissing Kerry during the elections.

Mathews on as a guest said that Bush is still faithfully listening to the neocons (Kagan) and Cheney. And, he says, Cheney's advice is ALWAYS, "Kill."

At that point they were pre-empted by Condi.

The world has turned upside down.

1. Matthews, Imus and their ilk are largely responsible for selling this President and
his policies to the unthinking American public along with Limbaugh, Coulter, Bennett, Hannity, O'Reilly and others.

2. Absolutely.
I was pissed at Matthews last night for talking about 2003 as if it was the people's fault that Shrimpy invaded Iraq in the first place ... and that we better be sure we are 'more involved' in making sure the same thing doesn't happen with Iran.

Uhmmm, Chris? Where were you during all the protests and Ltte's etc?
Oh, that's right ... you were kissing Bush's ASS!!

5. When Imus asked who was still backing "these people"
Bernard said, "the Limbaugh crowd" and Charles piped in, "The Ditto Heads." My mouth literally dropped open. Bernard especially has been one of the biggest Limbaugh quoters around.

I think these guys just trend towards what they believe is the popular position to take at the time which right now is to be agaisnt Bush. Should something happen like god forbid, a terrrorist attack in the US they will all be about how much of a genius he is...:eyes:

8. Always Remember That In
...any magazine or television program, the only reason for the existanse of the editorial matter or the programming is to prevent the ads from bumping into one another.

11. Exactly. Media exist to sell stuff. The rest is just the delivery system.

4. It's great they feel this way but I can remember
Matthews and Imus getting moist over how manly bush was in his silly ass space suit, and what pussies the Dems were (at least those who opposed this clusterfuck from the beginning). Actually I think Imus died some time ago and what you see on TV is his rotting corpse, animatronically programmed to grunt at predetermined intervals.
