it looked like one of those animatrons you see at Chuck E. Cheese, except not as animated. Maybe it needed more juice or another computer chip?

1. I'm sure he got a lot more "juice" once the speech was over. NT

2. Bush has some serious mental issues
Normal people don't speak like that.

I think the American people have a right to know what kind of meds he's on and if he's still competent.

4. He was downright creepy.
My television kept skipping through his speech, which made him seem more like a hologram or something. It went back to normal several minutes later.

5. I think it was a tape that skipped, I'd bet the farm that the speech
was not live. He couldn't be trusted to read something as long as that speech and not flub it up. On tape, they could edit the flubs. And I'm sure it was edited. My other half saw flashes and lines across the screen. Others have commented on the same thing. Your TV was not skipping, the tape was.
I could not watch this spectacle. Tuned into MSNBC when it was over. Keith, Tweety and others sure looked dumbstruck. I think they are all convinced we are in BIG trouble.

7. "THIIS time..."

I was nodding off during it but that line actually made me laugh. It was part "Come on honey I won't hit you again" alchie talk and "Well we have totally blown this so far but trust me with another shot" failed leader talk.
