Yellow Elephant Alert in Iowa
<http://desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?Date=20070111&Category=NEWS10&ArtNo=701110407&SectionCat=>

Adam Kaduce, 19, a Drake University sophomore and co-president of the College Republicans, said he felt optimistic after watching Bush's speech, adding that his confidence in the president has never wavered.

"Hopefully, this is the beginning of a new day in Iraq and this is the beginning of success and the ability to bring our troops home," Kaduce said. "It is still a winnable situation, and I have confidence that he can pull off a victory in Iraq."

---------------------
If it were somehow possible for me to figure out how to post the picture of this little yellow elephant I would sure love to.

Remember during the 04 republicon national convention when that fat witch with the bad toothy grin wore a big, purple heart bandaid on her chin - remember what a feeling of disrespect you felt for another human being? Well I totally feel that way seeing the picture of this kid ... standing in front of our state's flag as if he is protecting it ... with a twin towers toy, a little elephant, and a statute of liberty (you remember the one that welcomes immigrants to our shore?) behind him.

We should all contact Adam and help him and his young republicans find some enlistment papers. People like this are what will destroy this nation. Blind followers who always have other priorities.

2. Come on Adam, show that Republican spirit!
Start seeking deferments now!

Adam, get to the recruitment center if you love our Dear Leader so much and believe in his cause. Oh, and tell me, how many "New Days" have we had in Iraq? Are we turning yet another corner? Do you see a pattern developing here.

Chickenshit Chickenhawk.

3. This One May Do The Trick...

Isn't it amazing how the corporate media finds these "supporters"...a needle in a haystack these days and somehow package this as "balanced" reporting.

5. Contact Operation Yellow Elephant ...
http://operationyellowelephant.blogspot.com/

They're always interested in young Americans fighting them here, so they don't have to fight them there.

6. Hey Adam, Ka Douche is it? Anyway, your name isn't important...
What is important right now is that you're leader, "The Decider", needs YOU right now more than ever! So c'mon little soldier of stupidity, get yer butt down to that enlistment office today! Lets go tough guy! Show your support, and get your worthless ass over to Iraq/n right this minute! Or you could hide out at college until this all blows over, then continue on your chosen path of child molestation. Giddy Up!

9. Some good news from this
If he's only a Sophomore and already the President(Co) of the College Republicans, he either: A.) Has influential parents (money) or B.) The ranks of Republicans willing to be identified are thinning or C.) Scraping the bottom of the barrell.

At both Universities I attended, Under and Post Grad, the organizations (both Democrat and Republican) were always led by upper classmen , so much so the elections were always pretty intense.

10. What a mindless dolt...

The article says that Adam is a college student. Isn't that the time in your life when you're supposed
to learn to think for YOURSELF?

On what is Adam basing his inane statement, "It is still a winnable situation." This situation was NEVER "winnable".
How do you win a civil war, Adam? We went in to Iraq to rid the country of WMD. When we took Baghdad, there was no
civil war, no insurgency and no Al Queda. Now, we have all of that. However, we have no cogent plan to irradicate
any of that. Rumsfeld said it best, "We underestimated the psychology of the Iraqi people". Everything we currently see
in Iraq was unforseen by this administration.

...and somehow, a few lemmings have been convinced that solving all of that (a mess that WE created!) is somehow "winning".

We should have left after we took Baghdad. At that point, we HAD won. Instead, we allowed an insurgency, a civil war and an Al
Queda hornet's nest to grow around us. And this is what Adam wants to "win". Oh please.

I'd love to hear Adam tell everyone how it's possible that a Middle-Eastern civil war is "winnable" with inadquate troop
levels, a bungling commander in chief and poor planning? I hope Adam is paying for his own education. He has no critical-
thinking skills and he obtains his world view from laughable soundbytes created by the marketing wing of the White House.

Up is down. Down is up. Welcome to Adam's World where pretty ponies and sparkly rainbows magically appear to
"win" a civil war. Look, here come the Care Bears!

11. Just E-Mailed him about that, asking that same question
Did it very professionally, not attacking, as hard it was to keep my composure. With so many on his side that are finally waking up and seeing the reality of this mess, it's hard to believe there are still those that believe in this "cause".

When I hear people say things like that , I just want to hand them enlistment papers and tell them to get to it. I'm sure when the draft comes, they will be the first ones protesting it.

12. Please let us know if he responds
I would love to know what he says, if anything.

Here is a link he could use to have a recruiter contact him:
