Zealous, privacy-hating psycho Kansas Abortion Prosecutor Fired! YAY!

Kansas Abortion Prosecutor Fired
By JOHN HANNA Associated Press Writer

(AP) - TOPEKA, Kan.-The newly elected Kansas attorney general fired a special prosecutor Tuesday whom his predecessor had appointed to prosecute the state's most visible abortion provider.

Don McKinney had been hired to investigate Dr. George Tiller, one of the few doctors in the nation to perform late-term abortions. McKinney has previously protested outside Tiller's clinic. His last day will be Saturday.

"You are further ordered to cease and desist any further activity in this matter," Attorney General Paul Morrison wrote in a letter to McKinney.

1. a shame
Here we are celebrating simple sanity. This is, however, very good news if you happen to live in Kansas.

3. What Idiot appointed him?
A clear conflict of interest would have easily coursed a mistrial or dismissed case. You can't hire a protester to prosecute a criminal case it's just ludicrous.

5. the Attorney General
Hired him. This was his main priority to shut down what I thing was the only abortion clinic in the state. The AG had been elected, but he lost big in November.
