It takes a real dumb ass to believe war is the answer to everything...
I just heard some knuckle-dragger on C-SPAN who went on and on, as if he were an expert on the Foreign Affairs Committee. He explained how we destroyed Germany and Japan by blowing them to hell. That's the only solution he said. He must be a distant cousin to George W Bush? Ignorance can kill us all, there is no doubt.

2. um, but we didn't "destroy" them, in toto. And what we did destroy, we re-built.
Oh, there were those little factors of their trying to force themselves and their ideologies on others, but oh, wait, that's what we're doing.
Never mind.

4. And Iraq should not be considered the same as Japan and Germany...
Iraq did not attack us. All wars are not equal. Right?

6. I watched Brother Sun, Sister Moon a few days ago. We should have learned AGES ago!
People have known this for all those centuries.

Yet, here we are.

Will our children and grandchildren (assuming we still have a planet) fall prey to the same assininity???

Possibly a Department of Peace could help teach reality????
