Under a steady barrage of questioning from both sides of the House Armed Services Committee, neither Gates or Pace have been able to articulate how exactly this new escalation is going to help the situation, both will not give any type of planning statement or time frame.

This escalation has absouloutely no planning or strategy to affect this situation at all. What this says to me is that this build up is far more nefarious - these troops will be to bolster an attack on Iran.

Pretty funny, but so true. Maliki is no more than a puppet, so we pretty much know whats coming next.
