His base is between 25-30%, so it's going to be stabalizing pretty soon.

These are the folks who would follow him off the cliff, if that's what he told them was the way home.

6. You can hear his base still talking about 9/11 and the Iraq war.

I heard some caller on C-Span this morning saying we should back the resident and his war because we watched tower #1 fall then tower #2. They will never get it.

Some things do make me happy...like a 25% number would. The suck-side of it...what he did, and his cronies in Congress (when they were there) allowed him to do, to get there.

The Dems are right now drawing a line in the sand...WHEN he steps over it, and has a 25% popularity rating, and the 2008 "up for election" Repubs turn on him like a snarling pack of dogs (like they are starting to)....THEN...we can impeach the stupid brain baked moron...FINALLY...and his little dog Cheney too....simultaneously.

These figures are based upon nightly telephone surveys and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. The overwhelming majority of interviews were completed before the President’s speech last night. A separate survey completed the night before the President’s speech found that most Americans oppose plans for increasing U.S. troop strength in Iraq. Just 33% of Americans now believe that the U.S. and its allies are winning the War on Terror. Just 26% say that President Bush is doing a good or an excellent job handing the situation in Iraq.
