Tiny transmitters found on defense contractors with classified security clearances
Edited on Thu Jan-11-07 03:56 PM by soonerhoosier
What do you make of this? But for the fact that the AP and MSNBC have reported on this, I would say that Uncle Sam main suspect. My #2 suspect... magicians. (Because I own coins that look like this.)

This photo released by the Central Intelligence Agency shows a hollow container, fashioned to look like an Eisenhower silver dollar, which is still used to hide and send messages, or film, without being detected. It is similar to the Canadian coin that was found on some U.S. contractors. Because it resembles ordinary pocket change, it is virtually undetectable as a concealment device.

Defense Dept. warns about Canadian spy coins

In a U.S. government warning high on the creepiness scale, the Defense Department cautioned its American contractors over what it described as a new espionage threat: Canadian coins with tiny radio frequency transmitters hidden inside.

The government said the mysterious coins were found planted on U.S. contractors with classified security clearances on at least three separate occasions between October 2005 and January 2006 as the contractors traveled through Canada.

1. Seriously, what do you think?
Is it corporate espionage - defense contractors spying on other defense contractors?

2. I read the article and have no idea what to think.
This is odd and thanks for the article. Another thing to ponder on while waiting for bad things to continue. Odd. Now I need to go check my Canadian coins.

7. There is video at the link now.
They interviewed a former CIA agent who said it is likely corporate espionage by China, France, or Russia. China was his main suspect.

5. Seems to me more distracting propaganda. Feed the 'masses' with more fear.
When the corporate media has lied so often, what can one believe to be true?
