1. Libertarian in GOP clothing
You may like him on the international stuff, but you'd hate his domestic agenda.

2. International and civil rights, mostly
If he starts talking about economics and the role of government, his brains fly right out the window.

8. Agreed - but he's ablout the only one who has not followed the
party line. Even my ex-critter Jim Leach was a total toady who was passed as a moderate.

3. Yeah but he voted for Bush in 2004 and 2000,
and that is enough to make him unlikeable.

5. Paleolibertarian
The libertarian ideology is kind of cult-like. You have to literally believe that the "invisible hand" of the market is the greatest method of solving the world's problems.

At least they're isolationist on foreign policy (unlike the Ayn-Randies who support massacring Iraqis and Iranians in droves).

6. I knew you were going to say Ron Paul. I like him better than some Dems.
If the Republic Party was full of guys like him, Dems would be in trouble.

7. The only one I like is
my husband - and even then not all the time!

Fortunately for us, he too hates *, never voted for him, and would like this whole administration to disappear.

9. I respect him. Even though I disagree with his domestic
issues, he seems to let principles guide him.
