Keith Olbermann will have a Special Comment tonight + Russ Feingold
------------------------------------------------------
Tonight on Countdown
------------------------------------------------------

Keith has a Special Comment tonight on the President's speech.
Instead of an exiting Iraq, entering Iran?

---------------------

President Bush's decision to deploy 21,500 additional troops to Iraq drew fierce opposition Thursday from congressional Democrats and some Republicans - among them Sen. Chuck Hagel, who called it "the most dangerous foreign policy blunder in this country since Vietnam." The Nebraska Republican vowed to "resist" the plan, but the Senate's top Republican, Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., threatened a filibuster to block any legislation expressing disapproval of Bush's strategy. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16579285/

Senator Russ Feingold joins Keith.

Countdown w/ Keith Olbermann broadcasts LIVE at 8 pm et, and the count is never complete without you. Join us.

Part II of Lisa Myers exclusive report on how the Army won't use an Israeli anti-RPG device called "Trophy" because they are developing their own system.

And Keith's Special Comment on whether the President is trying to set up an entry into Iran.

That's some of what we're planning tonight.

-- Carey Fox

21. BTW
Did you catch Chris Matthews' Godfather reference last night? I didn't hear the set up, but I did hear him say "I'll know if I have a partner" or not.

6. Wow, that's going to be good. Thanks for the heads up. And
it looks like that supposed *rape victim* has changed her mind yet again. When are they going to do the right thing and drop this case? She obviously has been lying all along. I don't know what she gets of continually changing her story, though. Maybe a guilty conscience? I hope they turn around and sue her for ruining their lives.

He's an oasis of sanity in a sycophantic medium. I sometimes watch twice, just to get down from the wall.
