Sure sounds like it. While I obviously won't be voting Republican...he at least sounds like he has some sense. That is a definite plus.

He's been making the talk-show and fundraising rounds for a while now. I think he's in.

I've lived with the man as governor for years - he is awful, and his ethics stink! You do NOT want Huckabee.

That's really all one needs to know about Huckabee. And that Arkansas went 90% Dem after 11 years of him. Although I do think he is probably a nice man.

5. I thought he was pretty cool on Daily Show last night |
|
He didn't really sound like a republican.
For instance, he said that life begins at conception but doesn't end at birth and it's important to fund things like education and healthcare. Now what repub feels that way?

8. He talks a good game. But he's lost a lot of weight, as I remember. |

9. Didn't he do a sort of state-wide weight-loss program? |
|
encouraging others to lose along with him? I think that's cool.
But of course, he wasn't my governor so I dont' know what he is really like.

6. He was on Imus this morning re his new book "Hope to Higher Ground" |
|
I was sort of impressed myself, couldn't believe he was a Repug. He is very plain speaking, no bloviation or posturing. What's wrong with him??? Just kidding, he's just so non-repug type.

10. I'd prefer my President not to be a batshitcrazy Fundie, |
|
but that's just me. He may seem sane on the outside but do some digging - I seem to remember that he has some pretty radical views.
