Idiot Freeps showed up at our Stop the Surge Protest.
Edited on Thu Jan-11-07 07:54 PM by Lex

Hey, shouldn't they be in Iraq? Too bad I didn't have any Enlistment Forms for them. (Sorry the lighting is so bad--they were across the street where it was dark.)

We had about 100 people there. And those 2 idiots.

We got a lot of honks and shouts of support from cars passing by. Here's a few other photos from tonight.

She had a message on each side of her sign:

attracting a couple of morans only means you got someone to think (or react)(or both).

7. True.
It was kind of pathetic seeing them standing there alone. Pathetic for them. Pathetic for Bush.

4. Nuke Iraq?
Aren't we supposed to stabilize the country? Are these people living on the same planet as we are? I think this is the same type of folks who were responsible for the Holocaust. It's that sort of mentality. Bloodthirst. I don't mean this in a hysterical sense, but I think they exhibit this trait.

17. Their sign really sucks!
It's practically unreadable, all torn up at the bottom - were they trying to write the web address of freep-public but couldn't remember how to spell it?

The guy on the right looks French. Nice cigarette. LOL!

Hey, they came out from behind their keyboards. It's a tiny step towards the recruitment office and actual service for their country, but it's a giant leap for these morans.

anti-war marches. They used to have company a few years ago, but now it's just the two of them. Regular as clockwork.

16. Thank you....here's the form link..snork
http://usmilitary.about.com/od/joiningthemilitary/l/blcontract.htm

I am so proud of you and thanks so much for sharing the photos! I've been on two peace marches and how I wish I had enlistment forms to hand out to the freepers (all 2 or 3 of them) along the 3 mile routes!

Also, I had Washington Journal on tonight and a repug caller was ranting "my husband is a Navy Pilot in Iraq and he told me to tell all my friends to vote American not Democratic..blah, blah, blah" That was disturbing too

I wish I could be with my DU brothers and sisters again in DC on Jan 27, but will definitely be with everyone in spirit...Woo-hah :toast:

20. LOL!
I can't tell you how idiotic they looked. Here we were with flickering candles and signs that said "Peace" and "Stop the Surge" and "Enough" and these Goobers show up with "Nuke Iraq" for crying out loud.

These people are unhinged.

They were a perfect advertisement for what we were saying.

I read somewhere that when the Allies rolled into Berlin there were Germans standing on the rubble of their city waving Nazi flags.

There will always be those who worship tyrants.

30. I love the 'one way' peace photo- great job!-
got a few pictures from our vigil tonite, but don't know how to put them up.

We seem to always get folks that want attention. Tonite some foolish high school kids drove by and shouted "I love war!!" My sons were annoyed- I said it was sad that they were that desperate for someone to pay attention to them.

It is pretty sad. Imagine being them?

35. If the freeps' award-winning signage is plugging www.nuke-iraq.com....
That site has been abandoned since 2003, per the Wayback machine. Unless you count the "See you later" page that was up for awhile in 2005. Figures.

Other photos are terrific, Lex! :thumbsub:
