Said more troops may help militarily but the problem is political.

Need to talk to Iraq's neighbors. That's the problem with Bush administration, that they don't want to talk to anybody.

We can help Iran in exchange for their cooperation. They want their assets unfrozen, recognized in the region, technology. They need things from us but we don't trust each other now.

3. Thanks for report. This sounds like what Clark has been saying for a while -

and he is spot on. I am just wishing that he can magically whisper in some ears and get the military brass to somehow put on the brakes -- there are dozens of ways it could be done.
