Has no one else ever read Uncle Remus and B'rer Rabbit???

"Please don't throw me der briar patch".

They said it to make the moran think he could get away with anything... and now the 'Thugs are turning on him also.

How long till a group make the journey to the White House to tell him "it's time" and who will it be.

I think Pelosi/Reid have played the monkey perfectly. Game. Set. Match.

3. I don't understand any delay at all.
I'm firmly against the concept of abandoning our only protection from a tyrannical executive branch.

4. It's a chess game, nothing more.
We have the dem's (really) infavor
We have the majority of the people in favor.
But we MUST deny the 'thugs for ANY advantage in doing this. We must have the majority ot 'thugs in favor, and saying so LOUDLY.

15. It's begun.
If it were a tv show, I would be giggling with delight.

But this is a game being played for the fate of the world.

7. That's sort of been my theory on this
That the repubs themselves will lead the impeachment battle, they will be begging for impeachment of both Pres and VP and with that can you say President Pelosi?
In the world we live in now Truth has been stranger than fiction for a very long time now.

5. Gave him enough rope to hang himself.........
....that could well be. My take all along has been that they know that any investigations AT ALL will immediately unleash such a rat's nest of corruption, lies and incompetence that a tsunami of public outcry will follow and "off the table" will be irrelevant.

That's really just a variation of what you are saying.

I hope we are right!

And I also hope that getting "the visit" that says it's all over (ala Nixon) is a possibility. I will accept a resignation.

9. The public has to call for it
And while many are, not enough are, yet. Now that the 'puke Congress critters are speaking out, it won't be long. The perfect end would be for them to be the ones to call for impeachment. The foreign relations meeting with Kindasleezy today was just the start.

Can't find that in the constitution. Can you cite where to find it?

14. Not a hard and fast rule, obviously
Do investigations on everything. Prove the case beyond doubt. I agree with you, I have few doubts that it should happen, but he will be a martyr until this is bi-partisan. I don't think it will be long now. Like I said, the foreign relations committee hearing this morning when everybody (with a few notable exceptions) skewered Condi.

Shrewd. Real shrewd.

13. And how many people have to die for the chessgame?
Jesus. If one wanted grounds to go after the leadership, the grounds are there. Just follow the Cheney energy scandal, to pull one Brer Rabbit out of a hat.

If this is high strategy, then there are bloody hands all around.

18. Think Of It This Way
Is this the year we show Americans what we can accomplish, or do we engage in a messy hyperpartisan impeachment fight that is just be spun against the Democrats?
